OUR PRODUCTS

West Side Fly Guide sells hand tied flies. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, each fly is unique. We take great pride in the quality of our flies and stand behind our work.

DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ORDERS

If you receive a fly that is defective, does not meet reasonable quality standards, or is incorrect, please contact us at westleysallen@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order before returning any items. Please include your order number and a description or photo of the defect or error. We will work to resolve the issue promptly by sending a replacement or issuing a refund at our discretion. Providing photos of any defective item is always helpful.

If your order arrives damaged as a result of shipping carrier handling, please contact the respective shipping carrier directly for a resolution. All orders are handed over to the shipping carrier in excellent condition.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

We accept returns of flies in new, unused condition within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, flies must be unused, in their original packaging with tags attached, and without any modification to the item or packaging. Flies that show signs of use, have been fished, or have been damaged through normal use are not eligible for return or replacement. All sales on used or damaged items are final.

RETURN AUTHORIZATION

All returns require prior authorization. To initiate a return please email westleysallen@gmail.com to obtain a return authorization number before sending any items back to us. We do not accept unauthorized returns. If we receive a return without prior authorization, the customer will be responsible for shipping charges to have the item sent back.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

Once you have received your return authorization number, package your items securely in a box with sufficient cushioning to ensure they arrive in good condition. Include a copy of your original invoice and your return authorization number inside the package, clearly indicating the items you are returning. Ship your return using a trackable shipping method such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. We have no public access location and all returns must be shipped. USPS is generally more affordable for packages under 5 lbs. UPS or FedEx may be more cost effective for heavier packages.

RETURN SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.

REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7 days of receipt. Please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for funds to appear in your account depending on your bank.

UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS

We do not accept returns that do not meet the above conditions. This includes returns sent after 30 days, returns without prior authorization, returns of items that have been used or are not in their original unaltered packaging, and returns that are not packaged in a way that protects the item. If we receive an unauthorized return the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges to have the item sent back.

MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
